Wisconsin requires an annual enrollment statement (form PI-1206) filed with the state Department of Public Instruction, at least 875 hours of instruction, and coverage of six required subject areas, with no testing.

What the Wisconsin process looks like
1.Establish the program
File form PI-1206
File the annual statement of enrollment (form PI-1206) with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) by October 15 for that school year.
Withdraw from prior school (if applicable)
Withdraw the child from any current school.
2.During the year
Meet 875 hours and required subjects
Provide at least 875 hours of instruction each year in a sequentially progressive curriculum covering reading/language arts, math, social studies, science, and health. Keep your own records.
