What the Virginia process looks like
1.File Notice of Intent
File Notice of Intent (by Aug 15)
Notify the division superintendent of intent to provide home instruction, with a list of subjects, by August 15.
2.End of Year
Provide evidence of progress (by Aug 1)
Submit standardized test results (composite ≥ 4th stanine) or an evaluation letter of adequate progress by August 1.
