What the Texas process looks like
1.Establish the program
Withdraw from public school (if applicable)

Adopt a bona fide curriculum
Use a written curriculum covering reading, spelling, grammar, mathematics, and good citizenship.
2.During the year
Keep curriculum materials on file
Retain curriculum materials and samples demonstrating a bona fide educational program. No testing or reporting is required.
