What the Indiana process looks like
1.Establish the program
No notice of intent required
Indiana does not require a notice of intent. A voluntary enrollment/registration with the Indiana DOE is offered but optional. Notify the current school if withdrawing from a public or accredited private school.
2.During the year
Keep an attendance record (180 days)
Maintain an attendance record showing instruction for at least 180 days in the school year. Keep it on file at home; it is not submitted unless requested.
