What the Idaho process looks like

1.Establish the program

  • No state filing required

    No notice of intent, registration, or approval is required to homeschool in Idaho. Withdraw the child from any current school.

2.During the year

  • Teach the commonly-taught subjects

    Provide instruction in subjects commonly and usually taught in Idaho public schools. Keeping your own records is recommended but not required.
