What the Georgia process looks like
1.File Declaration of Intent
Submit the Declaration of Intent
Submit the Declaration of Intent to the Georgia Department of Education within 30 days of starting, then annually by September 1.
2.During the Year
Keep attendance records
Maintain monthly attendance records for a 180-day school year.
Write the annual progress assessment
Write an annual progress assessment report in each subject and retain it for at least three years.
