Delaware families register a home school through the Department of Education's online system and report enrollment and attendance annually; there is no state testing.

What the Delaware process looks like
1.Establish the program
Register the home school
Enroll/register through the Delaware DOE's homeschool reporting system as a single-family, multi-family, or single-family-coordinated-with-district home school.
Withdraw from prior school (if applicable)
Withdraw the child from any current school.
2.During the year
Keep attendance records
Maintain attendance records for the school year.
3.End of year
Report enrollment and attendance
Submit the required annual enrollment and attendance report to the Delaware DOE. No state standardized test is required.
