1.Establish the program
Notify the county superintendent
File annual notice with the county superintendent of schools that you are homeschooling, and keep the required immunization records on file.
Withdraw from prior school (if applicable)
Withdraw the child from any current school.
2.During the year
Meet instructional hours and keep attendance
Provide at least 180 days (roughly 720 hours for grades 1–3 and 1,080 hours for grades 4+) of instruction and maintain attendance and immunization records available for inspection.
