Cómo es el proceso en Arkansas
1.Establish the program
File a written notice of intent
Submit a signed notice of intent to homeschool to the superintendent of your local school district. Since the 2017 law change it may be filed at any time and remains effective without annual re-filing, though notifying of changes is good practice.
Withdraw from prior school (if applicable)
Withdraw the child from any current school.
2.During the year
Provide instruction and keep records
Provide a home-school education and keep your own records of curriculum and work. No specific subjects, hours, or days are mandated by the state.
3.End of year
No state test or report required
Mandatory state standardized testing for homeschoolers was removed in 2017. Retain your records for your own use.
